The Electronic Timing System of Court Hearings as an Instrument of Improve the Efficiency of the National Judicial Authorities
Abstract
Problem setting. The present article deals with the research of necessity of implementation the Electronic timing system of court hearings for improving the efficiency of the Ukrainian judicial system. The author suggests to supplement the existing judicial website (http://court.gov.ua) interface by the timing system which gives correctional opportunities for the engaged parties to change their plans during of the day in cases of delays or failures in court hearings schedule. Article’s main body. It is supposed that implementation of the Electronic timing system will give to all persons concerned the possibility to find out an information in online mode about the current status of consideration of the cases. At the same time, the parties will be able to find out whether or not the judge is currently at work or he is on the sick leave or on the vacation. Besides the article also contains the proposals for stimulation of the court officials to introduce the Electronic timing system by using the system of disciplinary encouragements and penalties. Conclusions and prospects for the development. According to the article, implementation of the proposals on a state level will give an opportunity not only to improve the working process of the national judicial system but also will be able to increase the level of trust to judicial branch of power overall.
