Abstract

The article examines the influence of modern political and legal processes on the Private International Law of Ukraine. The study identifies two important factors influencing Ukraine's Private International Law: the European integration vector of Ukraine's development and the war in Ukraine. Today, these factors have a multifaceted impact on the current state of Private International Law in Ukraine and the prospects for its development. The author characterizes the impact of European integration processes and the recodification of civil legislation of Ukraine on the Private International Law of Ukraine. The effect of the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine and martial law on the Private International Law of Ukraine has been determined. It has been established that under the influence of the war on private international law, there is an increase in the number and types of private legal relations, complicated by the presence of a foreign element and changes in the legislation of Ukraine in the field of legal regulation of cross-border private relations.
